Purple Pixels

My friend's birthday was coming up and I didn't know what to get him for a gift. He's big into video games, has his specific preferences for his keyboards, and has everything set up in his room that I didn't think he had any space any more artwork. His bookshelf was oveflowing, his walls had his posters, and his wall shelves have his figurines and video game mementos. I asked him about his office at work and he shared with me that it lacks personality, but he doesn't want his valuables at home to be office decor. That's when I decided to make him a small piece of artwork that he could bring to work, wouldn't be too niche-y with technology, but still customized to him. His favorite color is purple and he works in IT, so his gift became a small canvas of various shades/tints/tones of purple. To make it more "technological", I made the colors to look more like large pixels.
